I'm asian, & I wanna dye my hair. I wanna do something different, but something that fits m

I'm NOT pale! I'm like a near tan. I have split ends %26amp; I'm thinking about dying my hair Jet Black %26amp; then getting my bangs trimmed. Oh %26amp; I bleached my hair a long time ago, then dyed it black. Then the black faded so its like a faded black-brown. My hair is like, fried. But everytime I dye it the split ends go away. I want something different.. Like streeks or something. But what color %26amp; how? I don't wanna get the original streeks everywhere. Maybe chunky streeks like under my hair or something.

Don't listen to these people who tell you to do something stupid, like red streaks or warm shades of hair. I suggest you go to a salon and get it dyed a soft black and have all the ends trimmed so it will look better and be more manageable. Get it deep conditioned, too, and ask for recommendations on how to care for it. One thing is to stay away from hot water and blow-drying, as it will make your hair feel worse and will also fade the new color out. Good luck.

Maybe try a brown with red high lights... (like natural coloured red)

Dye it brown with highlights. It will go well with your tan, and be different without being shocking.

I don't know enough about dyeing and hair care to suggest any conditioner, etc. Maybe go to a hairdresser.

Good luck!

Well, the reason your hair seemed to recover from your dyeing to black was because, most dark dyes have proteins and conditioners in them, to give it that sheen.

Over-dying your hair, as it seems you have done, (my youngest sister did the same), usually results in wiry, brittle hair.

My suggestion, is to go with complimentary highlights. Go with colors that match similarly with your skin tones, or perhaps ones that contrast slightly, especially if you want an edgy look. Maybe throw in a playful color, or something warming such as a red or a brown-red.

To ensure your hair is able to repair itself, it might be smart to find a salon that does vitamin and protein treatments, and go in a few times between each time you dye your hair.

Since you're dying it jet-black, you could always add a dark purple or blue tinge to it. If it's jet black it usually looks good. Don't dye it too blue or purple, just enough to accentuate the color of your face.

i always found asian girls hot no matter what. yet anyhow, the one colour that does not suit them is blonde.

Any other colour , does though. A suggestion, Pink . or red. or purple. or even green .

well it's not good to dye your hair if its really damaged, it way sound silly but it can break and fall out. u may want to use some shampoo's or something to retreat it and lay off the iron or straightener for a while then u can dye ur hair. i see alot of ppl that are asian that dye there hair black then with red streaks,it looks cool
