I don't think so. I was told once that Asian hair cannot take a curl just like other kinds of hair don't take well to color.

Yes they can.... as long as they're not oriental. Yeah, I'm Chinese and my hair is completely flat. All the curling irons in the world only make my hair curly for about an hour. :(

I believe there are people in countries like India or in the Middle East who have curly hair, maybe not as much as straight hair, but still. Although, I could have all my facts mixed up.. Well, I've seen people w/ curly hair (from Asia.)

Remember it's not only people who are Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, countries on the east coast of Asia who are from Asia. Don't forget the people from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc..
