Dont do it yourself, even the sally beauty bleach will kill it, go to a professional. In your case it is quite expensive as it is a several step process, you must make sure they use RCG, red and gold corrector so it isnt brassy/orange.

Its is possible... you have to see a stylist at a salon for the best results. Or if you want to do a DIY colour then you simply follow the directions, but i dont really recommend that, leave it to the professionals.

I would not recommend this but if you still want to do this, go to a licensed cosmetologist who specializes in hair coloring and hair lightening. Your hair will have to be double-processed...all the color taken out first and then toned to platinum. It is critical that the lightner to take out color be applied evenly, the correct volume of developer used, and the timing precise. If you attempt to do this yourself, you will most likely end up with hair that looks like that of a calico cat...black, red, red/orange...and it will cost you a bundle of money to have the color corrected.

i say don't do it!! theres a reason why your hair is naturally black... it suits you bleaching your hair will totally damage your hair! but if you must, go to a professional because such a drastic change requires someone that knows what theyre doin. good luck =)

yup! but you cant do it yourself. (I know, i have black asian hair also) they will put in bleach and then sit you under a heater for a while. If you are taken out too early, it will be orange. Explain that you want platinum blond and you'll be fine. It shouldn't make your hair too brittle. Asians generally have pretty healthy hair.

You have to bleach your hair, which might burn and take a while since you have black hair. Then, dye it whatever color you want.

If you go to the salon, they'll probably refuse to do it or make you pay tons of money since it's a lot of work.
