I like my dark black hair but I just want to add some natural looking highlights to it, I was thinking about brown,caramel,or beige highlights but I most probably going to be using the store-bought dyes and I've read a lot of stuff about how some asian people tried dying their hair and it turned out an ugly reddish orange color.

What can I do to avoid this?

My friend suggested that I use Loreal Feria Caramel higlights but I'm not sure yet.
