Some time ago I read that the typical hair form for a white person is ondulated and straight for an Asian person (mostly in the Central Asian region). Is it probable that a white person with natural straight has some Asian ancestry?
I do not think that straight hair necessarily comes from Asian persons. There are many people in the Nordic area with straight hair. Their research is flawed.

Genetics-racially dominant trait. Native americans, who descended from asians long ago, also are generally hairless, as are many other sub races. Generally any guys with very little or no facial hair have very little chest or upper body hair either. Just natural. Most caucasians tend to have more hair, many guys with dark hair and thick beards and no chest hair usually shave it off.

hah, i'm a half korean, half american teen. find out what face shape you have and then go to www.cosmopolitan.com to see what hair length and cut flatters your face shape. also look around for pictures, maybe you'll find something you really like and just take a copy of the picture to the salon wtih you next time you go. right now, short (ear length) choppy styles are in or long layered styles, like alessandra ambrosio has. best of luck

It is possible...it will take time...a lot of upkeep...and a lot of money. Make sure your stylist is experienced with color! Try an Aveda salon that uses Full Spectrum Deep color...it's made especially for dark hair.

totally possible...go to an upscale salon that knows what they're doing....the cheaper it is in price...the worse the results. it's worth the extra cash!
Well you can go in the solan and tell them you want your hair that color but tell them wat you think so they understand...
Then thye mix colors to make the one you want so you can have the color hair color you want.
No it is possible but I doubt if it will be cheap. I have someone do my hair for things like this and I have black hair and she even told me to go to an even more upscale place that it would be very expensive.

you have a lovely cut now... you may add some bangs to the front... try different hair styles once in a while or try using rollers to curl up the bottoms... it looks lovely and different once in a while... braid it.. or tie it in different styles.. just for your own difference and satisfaction.. otherwise i think you should leave the layers.. 'coz it looks lovely for straight and long hairs
try to braid it. any type of hair looks good braided. mine is thick and it looks good in a braid.
you could get framing around your face and just get some soft layers
haha your one of the lucky ones. im chinese and for some reason i have wavy hair like heck.maybe you should try going a little shorter. if you do, you could do a lot more. like if it was short and playful
Face framing layers are great for a round face because it minimizes the appearance of the roundness. It creates a more oval appearence which is the perfect shape.
I let my hair air dry and do not use any products in it, besides shampoo and conditioner, no styling products at all, how often should I wash it, some say every other day, etc...
You should wash it every day.
Mane and Tail is ok, but I like Suave Humectant.

U should wash EVERYDAY!!!! Shampoo I think Herbal something... There is one for smooth hair, etc. U may find them at Target, Rite Aid, and maybe Albertson and others.
Aussie Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner should do the trick! (the one with Australian Ginger extract!)
Use sunsilk they have shampoo and conditioner for every type of hair and it really works i would recommend the Hydra TLC one
Use sunsilk, look for the one for dry and brittle hair. I use the smoothing one(blue) because my hair my hair gets poofy as it dries, well it did. It doesnt now!
